Auburn Public School Toilet Building
Auburn Public School required a new toilet and bathroom building to replace an existing older style toilet block. The NSW Department of Education and Training (DET) saw this as an opportunity to design and install a contemporary purpose-built modular toilet building.
Eastern Nomad Buildings worked with DET to design an efficiently configured modular building which:
- - Minimised the building footprint to maximise usable open playground space
- - Enabled the building frontage to be orientated to the playground area allowing improved teacher supervision
- - Incorporated disabled access, shower area and baby change facilities
- - Utilised the same architectural finishes and roofline to complement existing school facilities
Eastern Nomad Buildings manufactured the toilet building offsite in parallel with the demolition of the existing toilet block. ENB also provided temporary toilet buildings so the school could continue to operate normally during construction.
The children now benefit from an attractive and safe toilet building while enjoying more open playground space.
