Penrith Christian School - Creative Arts facility

Penrith Christian School is an Independent Christian Preparatory to Year 12 school in Orchard Hills, outside Penrith. Since its establishment in 1985 it has continued to grow and expand and now has a capacity for approximately 750 students.

Eastern Nomad Buildings was asked to design a new Creative Arts facility to replace an existing older building that was being used for art and music. The school requested a larger, more contemporary styled building to accommodate one music room, two art rooms and a drama teaching space with a small theatre.

The building was designed to use the existing piers and was manufactured at our premises. Offsite manufacture minimized disruption at the school while other construction was occurring as part of the school development program.

The new building blended seamlessly with the existing school having utilized modern materials and finishes such as pitched roof, colour coded custom orb cladding, plasterboard lining, halogen lighting and more.

The purchase price of the new building was able to be reduced by the trade-in value ENB was able to offer for the original building.
