St Vincents College - Classrooms
Eastern Nomad Buildings was commissioned to design and install a double classroom building for an inner city girl's senior school with very restricted site access.
Modular buildings were selected as the optimal solution given the short lead time required, concern over disruption to the school premises that would have occurred during conventional building construction and the difficult site access.
The modular classrooms were designed and built by Eastern Nomad Buildings and then transported to the school's entrance. The site for the classrooms did not allow for truck delivery so cranes were used to lift the completed modules into place for final assembly. Service connections, sub floor skirting and landscaping completed the project. The finished double classroom building is indistinguishable from conventionally constructed buildings and was completed within a much shorter timeframe and with minimized site disruption compared to conventional alternatives.
