Weirs Mineral - Human Resources Office Building
Weir Minerals is a global supplier of end to end solutions for the mining, minerals processing, transportation and waste management industries. The company required a new office building to accommodate human resources staff based at its Artarmon, Sydney office and factory complex.
Working with the customer, Eastern Nomad Buildings designed and manufactured a modular building for installation in a location completely surrounded by existing office and factory buildings.
Even though the building was designed to fit in a constrained location, it still offers over 100sqm of internal space including offices, meeting rooms, kitchen and toilet facilities. The interior is finished to a high standard including plasterboard lining, carpet and airconditioning throughout. The exterior features a curved roof, Colourbond custom orb cladding and stained timber covered verandah and stairs.
